  • CVSS 8.6 v4·EPSS 1.1%·No fix yet

LibreNMS is a network monitoring system. In versions from 21.6.0 up to 26.5.0, the Signal alert transport is vulnerable to command injection because the signal-cli path and the Recipient field of an alert transport entry are insufficiently escaped before being passed to an exec call. An authenticated administrator can craft a transport entry whose Recipient contains shell metacharacters and whose path points to the bundled composer_wrapper.php script, which itself passes attacker-controlled input to further unsafe exec calls. By chaining these calls, the administrator can execute arbitrary operating-system commands on the LibreNMS host. This issue is fixed in version 26.5.0.

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's run and get diagnostics functionality for the system VMs and virtual routers. An authenticated user holding the permissions required to invoke either `getDiagnosticsData` or `runDiagnostics` can achieve arbitrary command execution on the system VM and/or Virtual Router instances, with commands running as root (or as the diagnostics-process user, at minimum). This represents a full compromise of the affected instance and, depending on network segmentation, may provide a foothold for lateral movement within the CloudStack-managed infrastructure, including access to guest network traffic handled by the compromised Virtual Router. LangBot is a global IM bot platform designed for LLMs. In version 4.10.7 and earlier, any authenticated user can add or change an STDIO MCP server configuration without an adequate authorization boundary. In src/langbot/pkg/provider/tools/loaders/mcp.py, StdioServerParameters accepts the configured command and arguments and starts a server-side subprocess on the LangBot server. An attacker who can sign up or obtain an account can use the Extensions MCP configuration to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the LangBot service, enabling data disclosure, modification, and service disruption. In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could inject arbitrary Search Processing Language (SPL) commands through the geostats command. The injected SPL runs with the permissions of another authenticated user after that user initiates the attacker-controlled geostats search in Splunk Web. The injected SPL could expose all relevant data available to the second user, including stored credentials, and modify lookup files that the second user has permission to change. The vulnerability is possible because the geostats command does not sufficiently validate input before Splunk Enterprise processes it. When another authenticated user exports the dashboard as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file, Splunk Enterprise runs the injected SPL using the permissions of that user. The injected SPL could access or modify data available to that user. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Web does not sufficiently validate dashboard content before processing PDF exports. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the affected user by tricking them into initiating a request within their browser. In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, an unauthenticated user could inject arbitrary Search Processing Language (SPL) into requests that search for events near a selected event. This could allow for unauthorized search execution. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk Web does not consistently escape caller-supplied values when it builds SPL for nearby-event searches, and embedded report access accepts those requests without the expected authorization check. For more information see Use time to find nearby events (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-manual/10.2/specify-time-ranges/use-time-to-find-nearby-events) in the Splunk documentation.

aiosmtplib is an asynchronous SMTP client for use with asyncio. Prior to 5.1.1, SMTP.mail(), SMTP.rcpt(), SMTP.vrfy(), and SMTP.expn() send caller-supplied addresses without rejecting embedded CR or LF bytes. Data after the line break is framed as additional standalone SMTP command lines, allowing an attacker who influences an envelope sender or recipient to inject commands such as MAIL FROM, RCPT TO, RSET, DATA, or AUTH. SMTP.sendmail() and SMTP.send() without a Message object pass addresses through the affected methods, while SMTP.send_message() is not affected. Successful injection can desynchronize the command-response pipeline, hang the SMTP instance, or send an arbitrary message without requiring attacker control of the SMTP server. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.1.
