  • CVSS 7.1 v3·EPSS 0.2%·No fix yet

A flaw was found in postgres-exporter. Due to the blank import of `net/http/pprof`, debug endpoints are exposed on the unauthenticated metrics listener. A remote attacker within the cluster network can access these endpoints. This allows for information disclosure, potentially revealing process arguments, full goroutine stacks, and sensitive data like database connection strings or passwords from heap dumps. Additionally, repeated CPU profiling through these endpoints can lead to a denial of service.

The Cadmos LTI application hosted at cadmos.eummena.io had Laravel debug mode enabled (APP_DEBUG=true, APP_ENV=local) in a publicly accessible environment. An unauthenticated attacker could send a GET request and trigger an unhandled exception, causing Laravel to expose the entire server environment, including all .env configuration variables, in plaintext. Fixed on or before 2026-09-02.

yii2-starter-kit through 4.2.0 exposes the Yii debug and Gii modules to all IP addresses by setting allowedIPs to ['*'] in its default development configuration. Unauthenticated remote attackers can access the debug endpoint to read sensitive data including session cookies and database queries, or access the Gii endpoint to generate and write PHP files into the application directory.

Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, contains an Active Debug Code vulnerability. A flaw was found in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform's automation- controller. Four debug views that trigger the internal task, dependency, and workflow schedulers are configured to allow any user (including unauthenticated clients) and are routed in production builds because their URL include is not gated on the debug setting. An unauthenticated remote attacker can repeatedly invoke these endpoints to acquire the cluster-wide scheduler advisory lock; because the legitimate scheduler acquires the same lock without waiting, the attacker causes real scheduler runs to be skipped, stalling job dispatch for all tenants, while also consuming controller web workers. The debug root view additionally discloses the list of debug endpoints to unauthenticated callers.

An unauthenticated local attacker can connect to the Electron DevTools endpoint exposed by Acer NitroSense software (versions up to and including 5.2.63) on localhost TCP port 9993. GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. A logic flaw in GetSimple CMS (v3.4.0a and below) and GetSimpleCMS-CE (v3.3.22 and below) allows unauthenticated attackers to create a new administrator account. The application features an automated security control designed to delete the sensitive `admin/setup.php` file post-installation. However, this control is neutralized by a self-exclusion bug within the deletion logic, leaving the setup script accessible for unauthorized account creation even after a legitimate installation is completed. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available.

A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters' lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation.

When Calico's shared debug server is enabled (disabled by default), the Calico kube-controllers and Goldmane components bind their Go pprof debug listener to 0.0.0.0 without authentication. Any pod with network reachability to the listener can retrieve the process heap, goroutine stacks (including function arguments), and command-line arguments. Depending on the process's in-memory state, the heap may contain sensitive material. The debug listener is opt-in but is unsafe when enabled because it offers no authentication and no safe localhost-only binding option.

JuiceFS through 1.3.1, fixed in commit a46979c, contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to access sensitive debug and metrics endpoints by exploiting improper handler registration on the shared http.DefaultServeMux. Attackers can request the /debug/pprof/cmdline endpoint to obtain the process command line containing metadata engine connection strings with database credentials, granting full read/write access to filesystem metadata, while other pprof handlers leak internal state and profiling handlers enable denial of service.

Algernon is a small self-contained pure-Go web server. Prior to 1.17.7, when Algernon is invoked with a single file path instead of a directory, singleFileMode is set to true and debugMode is forcibly enabled. debugMode activates the PrettyError renderer, which on any Lua or template error response dumps the absolute path of the file that errored, complete byte contents of that file, and exception or parser error text. This response is served with HTTP 200 OK to whoever sent the request that triggered the error. Any client able to reach the server and able to provoke a runtime error in the served script obtains the full server-side source of that script and of any sibling Lua data file consulted during the request. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.17.7.

Active debug code exists in the ARN resolver of amazon-mq rabbitmq-aws before version 0.2.1. A debug ARN scheme (arn:aws-debug:file) accepted by the PUT /api/aws/arn/validate validation endpoint might allow remote authenticated users to perform arbitrary file reads on any file accessible to the RabbitMQ process. To remediate this issue, customers should upgrade to version 0.2.1 of rabbitmq-aws. If RabbitMQ is configured to use TLS for connections, we also recommend rotating any associated private certificate keys.

The Sprig Plugin for Craft CMS is a reactive Twig component framework for Craft CMS. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to versions 2.15.2 and 3.15.2, admin users, and users with explicit permission to access the Sprig Playground, could potentially expose the security key, credentials, and other sensitive configuration data, in addition to running the `hashData()` signing function. This issue was mitigated in versions 3.15.2 and 2.15.2 by disabling access to the Sprig Playground entirely when `devMode` is disabled, by default. It is possible to override this behavior using a new `enablePlaygroundWhenDevModeDisabled` that defaults to `false`.

A vulnerability exists in serial device servers where active debug code remains enabled in the UART interface. An attacker with physical access to the device can directly connect to the UART interface and, without authentication, user interaction, or execution conditions, gain unauthorized access to internal debug functionality. Exploitation is low complexity and allows an attacker to execute privileged operations and access sensitive system resources, resulting in a high impact to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device. No security impact to external or dependent systems has been identified.

Versions 2024.05-2ubuntu0.3 and 2024.02-2ubuntu0.3 disable the Shell. Some previous versions inserted a secure-boot-based decision to continue running inside the Shell itself, which is believed to be sufficient to enforce Secure Boot restrictions.
